Work Tops

Work tops are the pieces that have to carry a full day — blouses, knit tops and layering shells that read polished on their own and hold up under a jacket. If you are building around a bottom you already own, start with the quieter colours and let the bottom do the talking; if the bottom is plain, this is the place to take the neckline or the sleeve that has some shape to it.
